Cancellations and Refunds
A "cancellation" refers to discontinuing a Service or Product provided by Nakroteck. Customers may submit cancellation requests through their Client Dashboard or by contacting the Billing Department via a support ticket.
When a reason for cancellation is provided, Nakroteck will attempt to resolve the issue. If services no longer suit a customer's needs, we will act in the customer's best interest to facilitate a smooth transition.
Billing and Renewal Policy
Services are billed according to the customer-selected billing cycle (monthly, annually, biennially, or triennially). All services renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Key billing terms:
- Renewed products can be cancelled at any time, but full refunds only apply before the new billing term begins
- Cancellations within 30 days of renewal may receive a partial refund minus the cost of the first month
- Add-on and third-party services are non-refundable
- Customers must maintain current and valid payment information
- Renewal payments must be received within 24 hours of the due date
- Promotional pricing renews at regular rates unless stated otherwise
Data retention after non-payment:
- Shared hosting: data is retained for 5 days past the due date
- VPS and Dedicated Servers: data is deleted within 24 hours of service termination
Service Cancellation by the Customer
Immediate Cancellation
An immediate cancellation takes effect right away. The service is suspended and data is scheduled for deletion. Shared hosting data may be retained briefly; VPS and Dedicated Server data is removed within 24 hours.
Next Due Date Cancellation
A "Next Due Date" cancellation keeps the service active until the end of the current billing period. The service will be suspended on the next due date and data will be permanently deleted shortly thereafter.
Service Cancellation by Nakroteck
Nakroteck reserves the right to cancel services without prior notice in the following situations:
- Violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Engagement in illegal activities using our services
- Failure to respond to abuse complaints within the given timeframe
- Persistent non-payment or fraudulent payment activity
Resolution periods for violations:
- Shared hosting: 7 days to resolve the issue
- VPS and Dedicated Servers: 3 days to resolve the issue
Upon termination, customers are given a 7-day window to download their backups. Non-violation terminations initiated by Nakroteck will receive prorated refunds for unused service time.
Money-Back Guarantee
Nakroteck offers a money-back guarantee on initial orders for the following services:
- Shared & WordPress hosting: Refundable within 24 hours of activation
- VPS & Dedicated Servers: Refundable within 48 hours of activation
Refund eligibility expires:
- After 3 days for shared hosting
- After 5 days for VPS and Dedicated Servers
Non-refundable items:
- Setup fees, regardless of cancellation timing
- Domain registrations (free domains included with hosting plans will incur a transfer fee if the hosting is cancelled)
- Add-on services and third-party products
- Renewal payments (only initial orders are eligible)
Chargebacks and Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Nakroteck's Billing Department before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution.
All services will be immediately suspended during dispute proceedings. Reactivation requires the dispute to be resolved in Nakroteck's favor, or the customer must settle any outstanding balances directly.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and referral to collections.
